Hello I went to change the case of my username then realised I cannot due to the DOI on a dataset I have , I only want to change the case.
I am not sure how to proceed, any help from a team member would be much appreciated.

I think the DOI is probably the reason the username change is restricted, since the DOI is tied to the dataset’s metadata and persistent URL.
I would contact Hugging Face support and ask them whether they can update the DOI metadata after changing only the capitalization of your username. It should be better than trying to work around it yourself.
Hi @AlexDunstan yes please reach out to website@huggingface.co. We would need to remove the DOI so that you can change your username.
